It’s one of the most desirable holiday locations in the world – so attractive that the name itself speaks of long evenings on the strand, the sound of waves and effortless style. It’s the West Hamptons, and it is the namesake of Peet’s newest development in Alkimos.
Situated in the Shorehaven Coastal Village Centre, West Hamptons Apartments offer a unique connection with the sea: the three-level boutique development is just 150 metres from the ocean, with a stylish retail promenade leading down to the beach and close proximity to a four hectare Waterfront Park.
Designed by leading firm Hillam Architects, the development will eventually offer 68 one, two and three-bedroom apartments, all with quality fit outs and the choice of three stunning interior design schemes for buyers.
It’s here that the apartments hit their stride, with each designed to carefully reflect what makes ‘Hamptons style’ so popular – gabled rooflines, painted timber panelling in whites and neutrals, and feature subway tiling.
“It is the first time the Hamptons-style has been available in coastal apartment living in Perth,” says Peet Built Form Development Manager Stuart Hawley.
“Every detail has been considered to ensure this is a spacious and beautiful place to live.”
The interior colours capture the coastal getaway style made popular in New England, with interior colours featuring a mix of whites, taupes and natural timber. Three colour schemes have been developed, and purchasers can choose from a contemporary, coastal or traditional Hamptons scheme.
Adding to the appeal, Peet has negotiated a deal with Pottery Barn, and buyers will receive up to $3,000* to spend at the iconic American store as an added gift with their apartment purchase.
“Pottery Barn has become synonymous with this style of comfortable yet luxurious living and this gift to buyers will give them the chance to weave the Hamptons magic into their home,” Stuart says.
“Pottery Barn are also happy to provide a free interior design consultation with buyers so every detail and touch combines perfectly.”
Apartments in the first stage three-level boutique development start at $311,000 for a one-bedroom apartment, which offers a spacious 55 to 57sq m of living area. Two-bedroom apartments start at 74sq m but range up to 148sq m across a split-level floorplate, priced from $349,000 to $559,000.
There are also two three-bedroom split-level units that offered 183sq m of living space.
“With this space you are on par with many houses, so this is a very affordable, very spacious offering,” Stuart says.
